The Lipedema World Congress (LWC) is a scientific and medical congress designed primarily for researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, and patient association representatives. The program focuses on research findings, clinical practice, surgical and conservative management, and health system issues, and sessions are delivered in technical, professional language. While we deeply value the lived experience of people with lipoedema, the LWC is not structured as a patient education event.
